FEATURED PROJECT

Conjure Coffee

From a weedy property to a native landscape that sends a message.

FORT WAYNE, IN

INITIAL GOALS

If you like good coffee and good service, Conjure Coffee is one of Fort Wayne’s best. While everything indoors is welcoming and appealing, the landscape at their Columbia Avenue location left a lot to be desired. It was weedy and dusty and did not greet patrons in the way Conjure desired.

ROZELLE SOLUTION: LOCAL COFFEE, NATIVE PLANTS

After understanding Conjure’s priorities and principles, our team created a design for the outdoor patio that adds beauty to their gathering place and environmental health to the greater community. We planted a native garden that surrounds the patio. Flowers now bloom there from spring to fall. This seating area is now a patron favorite. It feeds the soul by providing a beautiful, natural place to enjoy a cup of coffee, but it also welcomes pollinators who stop by to gather nectar. The redesign of the space communicates a message of care for the customer as well as care for the planet.

PLANTS USED: Wild geranium

PLANTS USED: Little bluestem, prairie dropseed, purple coneflower, marsh blazing star
