Introductory Period If I am hired, I will serve a 90 day introductory period. During this time, all aspects of my work will be evaluated and if Rozelle Lawn & Landscape’s standards are not met, my employment at Rozelle Lawn & Landscape will be terminated. Completion of the 90 day introductory period does not guarantee continued employment. Employment-At-Will Indiana is an employment-at-will state. This means that an employee may leave employment at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, further, it means that Rozelle Lawn & Landscape has the right to terminate an employee at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Current Drivers License Rozelle Lawn & Landscape relies on their drivers to have a current drivers license. They also rely on their drivers to obey all the rules of the road and commercial laws set forth by the Department of Transportation (DOT). Any driving violations off the clock (example: DUI, reckless driving, etc.) could result in losing my employment. Work Requirements I understand that, if hired, I may be required to work overtime, Weekends, and conform to the company rules and policies. Drug and Alcohol Screening I will be required to submit to a pre-employment test for drugs and/or alcohol as permitted by law. Furthermore, I may be required to submit random drug and/or alcohol tests while being employed at Rozelle Lawn & Landscape. Employment Eligibility Verification I must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Discrimination I understand that Rozelle Lawn & Landscape will not tolerate unlawful discrimination and/or harassment and that I have an obligation to report any such activity to the company. Permission to Verify Information I authorize, at Rozelle Lawn & Landscape’s discretion, investigation of all statements made by me in this application, and review of any civil or criminal records which may exist, concerning me, except for such records as are sealed according to state or federal law. I further authorize Rozelle Lawn & Landscape, at its discretion, to contact employers, references and others whose names are provided on this application form, or whose names may be identified by me in a job interview, and I authorize such persons to provide Rozelle Lawn & Landscape with information requested by Rozelle Lawn & Landscape regarding me. I further release any such individuals, as well as Rozelle Lawn & Landscape, for any claims I might have arising out of any discussions involving me, or the provision of any information or records regarding me. False Statement In the event of employment with Rozelle Lawn & Landscape, I understand that false or misleading information given in my application or interviews may result in discharge.
